We had a lovely event recently at Northumbria School of Design when fashion marketing lecturer and sustainable fashion designer Louisa Rogers treated us to a colourful talk on Kitsch.
She began with a retro look at food in all its artificial 70s heyday complete with jelly and food colouring and followed through to cute kittens! We also had a talk by Jennine Wilson who is a photographic image maker and an Associate Lecturer on BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Marketing at Northumbria University and TICE Photography Mentor.
